Police said they have made five arrests in connection to the shooting of a Miami-Dade Police narcotics officer who was making an arrest in Miami, including the man who pulled the trigger.Thirty-two-year-old Steve Gallon IV will be charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement officer with a firearm. He is the son of Miami-Dade School Board Vice Chair Dr. Steve Gallon III.According to investigators, Gallon IV ambushed the victim while he was arresting another man in the area of Northwest 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue, just after 4 p.m., Wednesday.Hours later, officers apprehended the man who was initially going to be arrested. A trailer belonging to a South Florida businessman has been found. More than a week after it was stolen in Plantation, the trailer was located in Davie and was empty.The damage and stolen items costed the owner more than $20,000, but the bigger loss for him involved his late father. “It was the last ride that me and my dad took with this trailer, and I said that before, as long as I get the trailer back, if anything, I’ll be happy with that,” Vincent Pugliese said. “I already knew the equipment would be gone. The road to trouble came to a dead end for a group of suspected reckless riders. Deputies used their street smarts to put the brakes on some reckless riders with the crackdown leading to several arrests. The Broward Sheriff’s arrested three men in at a Fort Lauderdale parking who are accused of creating burnouts and skidmarks. Deputies said that those drivers are putting themselves and other people in danger. “There will be no ticket citations where you are walking away,” said Sheriff Gregory Tony. “We’re going to put you in handcuffs and put you in jail.”BSO said they are putting the brakes on dangerous drivers who do donuts and burn rubber on the road. There was danger in store in North Miami Beach over a man who had a gun outside a popular Target store. 7Skyforce hovered over the store near the 14000 block of Biscayne Boulevard, Thursday afternoon. According to North Miami Beach Police, the man who waved the weapon was taken into custody. A group of current and former Patriots players joined Gov. Maura Healey and others in Quincy on Thursday, getting a haircut for a good cause. “Saving by Shaving” is an annual fundraising program that supports Boston Children’s Hospital. Current and former Patriots including Devin McCourty, Matt Light and Matthew Slater were all on hand to get a close cut this year. Healey received a trim. “It’s just wonderful to be part of the spirit of generosity and compassion here in the state,” she said. “I’m just happy to be here today,” McCourty said.
